Circuit Training This is the beginner’s basic exercise routine. Boys and girls, who are physically fit, should be able to do 15 repetitions (reps) of each exercise. Most boys and girls starting this circuit won’t be able to do 15 reps right away. Don’t worry, do as many as you can and build up your muscles from week to week. 1) Sit Ups will strengthen your stomach and lower back muscles, known as your “core”. Do 15 Reps. 2) Push Ups will strengthen your upper body muscles (shoulders, arms, and chest). Do 15 Reps. 3) Squats are good for strengthening your leg muscles and lungs. Do 15 Reps. 4) Jogging in Place is also good for strengthening your leg muscles and lungs. Jog in Place for 15 seconds. Click Here »
