ANGOLA (nickname “Big Gola”) is the second of the Avenging Ape triplets. Slow-witted and simple-minded, he has his own twisted logic that makes perfect sense to him, if not to others.

Standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 325 pounds, his weight makes him the butt of jokes by Zaire and Algeria. But Angola is capable of turning the tables on them and having the last laugh.

He likes to take it easy and enjoys sitting under a giant African oak, while writing stories and poems or daydreams and plays sweet tunes of his saxophone for hours at a time. Football is Angola’s sport of choice and he performs the jazz solos in the Go Go Gorilla Band.
