Christopher Turner, is the CEO of Grace Animation
Studios, LLC and is also the creator of the Avenging Apes of Africa.
God gave
Christopher this dream about the Avenging
Apes over 14 years ago. Turner for more than 4 years developed
the story and characters, and also learned about the animation business,
writing, character models, storyboards and much more. Turner then introduced
the Avenging Apes to two of his associates then they together took
this
dream to another level. Through patience, perseverance and faith Christopher
is now seeing his dream come true as he expects kids all around the
world to fall in love with the Avenging Apes of Africa and AvengingApes.Com.
When not writing stories about the Avenging Apes, Christopher enjoys
reading about animals, cartoons and books of the Bible. Christopher
also loves spending time with his family and church. Some of his
other
favorite activities are fishing, weight lifting and cardio-fitness.
Christopher's Words of encouragement
are "Never ever give up
and always give it your best in
whatever you do".
David Harris is the President of
Grace Animation Studios. David came to Grace Animation Studios in February
2004 and is very excited to be a part of a company that “is bigger
than myself.” In his freetime David enjoys fishing. David is married
to his beautiful wife, Dana, with whom he has three children: Lexi,
Krista, and Holli.
David’s words of encouragement
are
“Success is not a destination,
but it’s what we
do and
how we act on our journey.”
Dan DeForest is the Art Director
of Grace Animation Studios, LLC. Dan came to Grace Animation Studios,
LLC. 1996 and developed all of the art drawings of the Avenging Apes
and all of the other characters. Dan loves to draw and he also does
sculpting and painting. Dan enjoys creating different drawings of the
Avenging Apes and other cast members. Dan has been drawing since he
was very very young. Some of his favorite things to do when not working
the Avenging Apes is draw, draw and draw...although he does some painting.
His words of wisdom are
"Draw,
draw and draw...paint some too!"
John
Celestri is Vice President of
Animation at Grace Animation Studios, LLC. He is also the principal
animator behind The Avenging Apes of Africa, guiding and directing
the development of all animation properties owned by the studio. A
30-year veteran of the animation industry, John learned the basics
of classical 2D animation from some of the best animators who drew
for Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, Max Fleischer and Terrytoons—all
famous animation studios of the 1930s through 1960s.
For John, the best
part of his job is “not only making characters
move and act in funny ways, but also in having the chance to reveal
the depth and souls of cartoon characters and have them act in ways
that can be related to by kids in all parts of the world.”
John’s words of encouragement are “ Never sell yourself
short.
You can’t reach a goal
if you don’t take that first
step.”
